Short film color grading breakdown — BMPCC 6K

Just finished grading a 12-minute short film shot on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K in BRAW. Used DaVinci Wide Gamut color managed workflow and built everything from PowerGrades. Happy to share my node tree and process if anyone is interested.

Would love to see the node tree. Especially interested in how you handled mixed lighting scenes with natural light plus practicals. Did you use qualifier isolation or all global adjustments?

The skin tones look great. What IDT are you using for the BMPCC? I always struggle getting Blackmagic footage to look right in a color managed workflow.

Node tree has 8 nodes — CST input, exposure fix, primary balance, skin qualifier with softness, highlight recovery, contrast curve, film emulation LUT, and output CST. For the BMPCC I use the Blackmagic Design Film Gen 5 IDT, it gives way better results than the generic one.
