No audio after importing iPhone / OBS footage

Imported footage from my iPhone and the audio track is completely missing in the timeline. The file plays fine in VLC with sound. Also having the same issue with OBS recordings. Already checked that the track isnt muted. Any ideas?

iPhone and OBS both record Variable Frame Rate which Resolve really doesnt like. Convert your files to Constant Frame Rate first using HandBrake or ffmpeg. That fixes the audio sync and the missing audio issue.

Can confirm this. I record with OBS and always run everything through Handbrake before importing. Set it to constant framerate matching your project. Pain but it works every time.

HandBrake fixed it, audio is back. Is there any way to make Resolve handle VFR natively or is this just a known limitation?

Known limitation unfortunately. Even Resolve 20 still cant handle VFR properly. Premiere can but thats about the only advantage it has at this point.
